Quality Assurance Supervisor
Full-time, staff position
In this position, you will lead and supervise the Quality Assurance team of our Research and Development department. You will develop, implement, and maintain QA processes and procedures to ensure exceptional product quality. You will be instrumental in short and long-range planning. As a working supervisor, you will take the lead in product testing.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Hire, lead, coach, and evaluate the performance of the Quality Assurance staff. You will encourage, inspire, and support the team, as you foster an environment where initiative, improvement, and challenges are welcomed.
- Establish, implement, and maintain plans for producing measurable results.
- Challenge established methods and change processes, technologies, and systems to meet testing needs. Build consensus when implementing new plans and procedures.
- Demonstrate vision and provides practical steps to achieve that vision.
- Maintain a sense of urgency while handling a wide variety of responsibilities, quickly responding to changes or crisis situations.
- Express a willing and helpful attitude to staff and clients.
- Test the product, along with staff, to discover current and potential defects.
Requirements:
- Extensive quality assurance experience in a software development environment
- Comprehensive and extensive understanding of QA processes and best practices
- Strong background in databases and SQL scripting
- Proficient in SQL, Windows, Word, Excel and automated testing software
- Ability to quickly learn Axium software and the architecture/engineering industry
- Programming background, as it applies to product testing, is preferred
- Prior supervisory experience in a product testing environment is preferred
- Good understanding of accounting principles is preferred
- Degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or Accounting is strongly preferred. Candidates with equivalent experience will be considered
Software Support Technician
Full-time, staff position
As our Software Support Technician you will learn and understand the installation and operating procedures and processes of assigned Axium software product, the Architectural and Engineering industry, and basic accounting issues clients face. Complete a training program to enable understanding of the product and must pass Knowledge Review exam at 85% or better, within 6-8 weeks from hire date, to begin Support functions. Learn Axium call procedures relating to call handling and logging. Perform support functions by answering incoming client support contacts in a professional manner as scheduled and as needed during overflow. Handle inquiries by phone, e-mail, fax, or Axium Online using accurate and appropriate verbal and written communication.
Requirements:
Advanced knowledge in at least TWO of the following:
- Accounting (including Billing, Payroll, General Ledger and Financial Statements) or equivalent.
- Technical software support troubleshooting issues on COMPLEX software systems or databases.
- Microsoft operating systems and networks — MCSA beneficial.
- High level of experience with Customer Service fundamentals identifying and responding to customer needs and handling difficult customers.
- Seasoned experience working in environment where multiple tasks and multiple priorities co-exist.
- Touch typing and ten-key at minimum 50 wpm.
- Fundamentals of Microsoft Office including Word.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Architectural and Engineering industry is a plus.
- Any experience in industry Windows-based Accounting software such as Axium's Protrax, Sage Timberline Office Accounting(formerly Timberline Construction-Gold), Deltek Advantage, Deltek Sema4, Deltek(Wind2) FMS is preferred. Other non-industry accounting software packages such as MAS90, Peachtree, Masterbuilder, JD Edwards, would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of databases, data structures, and database development involving MS Access or any other scripting language used for parsing data fields could increase project opportunities at Axium.

Sales Representative
Full-time, staff position
As our Sales Representative you will maximize the sales of software products and services within an assigned geographic territory. Primary focus is on sales of financial management, CRM, marketing and business development software to Architectural, Engineering and other project based businesses. There is a heavy focus on new business development.
Primary Responsibilities:
- You will prospect for new business opportunities and follow-up on qualified leads within an assigned geographic territory
- Qualify and match the prospect’s needs with the appropriate Axium software and service solution
- Coordinate sales presentations with prospects as required using internal as well as external resources
- Overcome objections within the sales process
- Coordinate sales presentation with prospects, as required, using internal as well as external resources
- Effectively use the phone, written correspondence, e-mail, Internet and other resources within the sales development process
- Learn competitive products and issues and develop strategies to overcome them
- Maintain contact with existing clients within assigned sales territory to solicit referrals and sell additional services
- Document all contacts accurately and completely in Axium’s CRM program
- Prepare and deliver quotes using Microsoft Word and sales boilerplate provided
- Close sales and prepare orders including securing payment, license agreement and documents in the order processing system
- Forecast sales opportunities and meet or exceed sales goals monthly and annually

Account Manager

As our Account Manager you will maximize the sales of software products and services within an assigned geographic territory.
